Top 4 Juice Books: Recommended Juice Books

As for juice books, these four are the cream of the crop. When it comes to learning more about juicing, read these books first. They are all very well written and packed with lots of great information.

These juice books are not listed in any particular order. They’re all good, so pick one or read them all!

1. Complete Juice Book – Michael T. Murray

One of the best things about this book is that it references many reputable scientific publications. So if you’re interested in the science behind juicing, this book is a great choice!

Like some other authors, Murray highlights the link between the Western diet and modern health problems. As we consume more fatty foods, our rates of cancer, heart disease, and stroke have skyrocketed.

Murray takes a good look at how juicing can solve this problem. It’s a great read, and it’s packed with some amazing recipes. However, some of the recipes are quite extreme and can make you feel a bit queasy. However, they are good for you anyway.

2. The Juice Book – Stephen Blauer

Of the various juice books, this is probably one of the oldest. It’s from 1989, so hopefully there’s some obsolete fluff inside.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. Blauer provides nutritional information and also makes excellent recommendations for specific health conditions.

Find out how to design a good juicing program and get the best juicer to suit your needs.

3. Total Juices – Elaine LaLanne

Again, a wonderful book. Along with the standard nutritional information, LaLanne goes above and beyond and explains how to use the pulp in cooking. Yes, that means never wasting a drop of what you make.

This juice book was actually written by Jack LaLanne’s wife. Jack LaLanne is known to many as the godfather of fitness and health, and his wife is no different.

Of the juice books here, this one has the craziest recipes. You’ll read it and wonder how a certain combination could even taste good. It’s worth reading.

4. Juices for Life – Cherie Calbom

This is probably one of the most practical books on juicing. It’s so easy to take anything from this book and put it to use in the kitchen right away.

Along with the basics, it’s packed with extensive information on juicing for specific disorders, how to modify your diet to fit, what nutrients you need to get, and more.

If you’re looking for practical information, look no further than this book.

Of the recommended juice books here, none of them stand out as the best. They are all slightly different and will help you in different areas. Have a cup of coffee and sit in a comfortable place, because you will be reading for a while.
