The most moving experience of my life: a story

Everything under the sky cannot be represented exactly as it is in words, especially feelings. No matter how well I try to express my feelings in a story, no matter how well someone else tries, you can never pronounce the words to express feelings efficiently. Saying can be closer and better to represent feelings. Dead words, on the other hand, rarely come close to a person’s true feelings. Consider this: anyone can feel love better than even the best story writer can write about it. But in this emotional story, I am doing my best (I can assure you at least that) to tell you to understand what I may have felt on the day I call The Most Moving Experience of My Life.

the history

So I was in the tenth class; in fact, classes had just started after a fun summer vacation. Priya and I were good friends, actually more than that. Our parents were friends too, but they only knew the healthy part of our relationship. After our classes ended, we often sat together in the park to talk. And it was just talking, nothing more. For this we both went to our houses and returned to the park to meet. In fact, the day was special. He had missed Priya during the 50-day vacation like hell. Sure, we also met regularly during the holidays, but we couldn’t sit together for hours like we did at school.

As was the case every day, we had to meet in the park around 5 o’clock. I tried to study his subtler feelings for me by asking some pre-planned questions. What I could understand from their responses and their body language was the cause of what I did that day.

I got to the park before her and waited the next 10 minutes. Believe me, those 10 minutes were the longest for me, every second lasted forever. She finally arrived, dressed in a pink blouse-skirt. Maybe he had taken it on vacation. It happens that the girl you are in love with seems the most beautiful in your eyes.

“Hello.”

“Hello.”

“Late?”

“It’s fine.” I said and she sat next to me on the bench.

“You know?” she asked and I looked at her questioningly. “But don’t tell anyone else.”

“Do I have to assure you?”

“No, it’s not like that,” she said with a twinkle in her eyes, “After all, you are my best friend.”

He wanted to propose to her right then. But I preferred to hear what she meant.

What he said was the worst and saddest thing he could hope for. It was the song that saddened all my music after the day. She had fallen in love with a boy before a few days. According to her, they met at Cuttack when she was there for ten days during the holidays. What can I say? I just nodded, doing my best to hide my emotions under a plastic smile. She kept twittering about the boy after that, but I could barely see or hear a thing. Although my eyes couldn’t stop the tears, I did my best not to burst into tears. I didn’t want to spoil my angel’s happiness. Thanks that she never found out too.
