Attendance monitoring software and login/logout monitoring

In workplaces where employees work on computers, it is convenient to monitor attendance with software that includes login/logout monitoring features. Consider the following advantages of running attendance monitoring software:

1. Attendance tracking software keeps track of members who were present or absent and of course any non-members or intruders seeking access to the workplace will also be quickly identified.

2. The number of hours worked can be computed automatically by comparing the arrival and departure times of each member. The time attendance software will calculate the total number of hours worked during a certain period of time.

3. Time attendance software helps calculate payroll as workers are paid according to the hours they worked. The bookkeeper no longer needs to calculate for each worker how many hours were worked. Attendance monitoring software will do this automatically. This is maybe, but I wouldn’t go into describing such deep features if I’m not sure. This is not our feature.

4. The availability of any particular worker can be determined with a glance at the monitoring screen. The supervisor will not need to ask other employees or take the time to make phone calls to find out if a particular employee is on duty.

5. It is possible to be more flexible with work schedules, including keeping track of workers who travel and work remotely. Workers working earlier or later does not cause any inconvenience, since attendance is controlled automatically.

6. Attendance monitoring reports can summarize any employee’s attendance record over a given period of time.

Login/logout monitoring is included in attendance monitoring, while it also serves some additional purposes, such as:

1. Lets you know how many people are accessing a directory on the computer at any given time and who they are, as long as the directory has a login screen.

2. Access can be restricted to certain directories by password or code. Any attempt to hack the directory by a stranger or intruder will be immediately noticed, as a couple of unsuccessful login attempts will trigger a warning signal.

3. Reports will show who last connected to a highly secure directory. The entire history of the user’s activities, including the frequency of logins and how long they were connected, can be disclosed.

The biggest benefit of time attendance and sign-in/sign-out control software in the workplace is that time-consuming manual attendance reporting is no longer required. Also, employees cannot cheat the system by logging in and out of the computer, as the system will notice an idle computer. The software works unobtrusively to record login and logout automatically. Workers can start work immediately without any preliminary. Managers have access to reports at any time that is convenient for them. They don’t need to interrupt workflow just to get answers to their employee attendance questions.
