Wireless Laser Mouse – Logitech MX620 Review
For years, Logitech has been the go-to company for input devices. They have continually come out with quality keyboards, mice, and other computer hardware. The MX620 is not a disappointment; Logitech focused on integrating key features for the general computer user.
Sitting with a $50 price tag on newgg, it’s an expensive mouse compared to others, but you get what you pay for. Buying a mouse should never be overlooked.
The Logitech MX series focused on creating a unique design to provide the best user comfort and performance. The 620 provides an ergonomic design that prevents cramping and elevates your wrist, providing extreme comfort while you’re at your computer for hours.
The mouse design features a curved area where your thumb will rest, allowing you to easily access the two programmable thumb buttons. This is a great feature for playing games, editing documents, or just browsing the web, as these buttons can be customized for any application.
Your index and middle fingers rest comfortably on the two standard left and right mouse buttons. The mouse scroll wheel sits right between these two buttons and can be comfortably accessed with both your middle and index fingers. On the left side of the mouse is the “quick search” button. This can be used to quickly search through your computer, games, or web browsers.
The material used for the outside of the mouse tends to make my palm sweaty after a few hours of use. Kind of like a rubber, it almost looks like this is the same material used in the Xbox 360 controller.
The only other flaw in the mouse’s design is the size. I have a very small hand so I don’t experience this, but I think users with larger palms may have issues with the left and right click buttons not being big enough.
Overall, the design of this mouse is fantastic. It’s ergonomic, comfortable, and all the buttons are in easy-to-reach places. If you can avoid having to wipe your sweaty hands after a couple of hours of use, the Logitech MX620’s design will keep you gaming, editing documents, and surfing the web with comfort and ease.
The Logitech MX620 mouse is great for the PC user who will be surfing the web, playing casual games, or editing professional material. However, if you are an avid gamer, there are much better mice on the market for a similar price.
