How to be a better putter, so you can save more money

Today I am going to tell you how you can be a better putter. And, you might be wondering how it’s going to save me money, right?

Well, if you’re a better putter, you won’t lose as many bets to your golf buddies and you’ll be less likely to want to go out and buy a new one every year or every few months. Makes sense doesn’t it?

Ok, so how do you become a better putter? As with most things in life, it’s pretty simple, it won’t take him long and I can virtually guarantee that if he does this, he’ll be a better player.

So let’s get to work now. Well, let me paint a picture of what is likely to happen to you with your game and how this little technique will make a difference for you. So if you have a medium to high handicap, you usually don’t hit that many greens in regulation and often when you do, you’re a long way from the pin, right? So that puts quite a bit of pressure on your putter and you have to avoid three putts at all costs to lower your score and avoid throwing into the 90’s.

This technique is very simple and makes a lot of sense. Take 5 golf balls and go to a putting green. Instead of throwing from long distances and trying to get the ball close, take all 5 balls and drop them about 5 feet from the hole. Now practice placing all 5 balls from 5 feet and do it from all angles around the hole. To maximize your results, you should do this 20 times in one practice session to practice 100 putts. Keep track of how many times you putt all 5 balls and obviously try to make as many as you can within 100 putts. Take a sheet of paper with you and simply keep track of how many you make.

Now you’re probably wondering how this really helps me, right? Think about it. How many of his three putts come within 5 feet or so? He’d be willing to bet, most of them. So what he’s done is essentially extended the range of his putting ability by practicing 100 five-foot putts and gained more confidence. So now, instead of feeling pressure when you walk the green to get so close that you have a gimme, you’ll feel more confident that even if you leave it 5 feet away or 5 feet away, you’ll know you can make the next putt. because you’ve practiced that putt over and over again. Obviously, the more you do this exercise, the more you monitor your results, the more you will improve.

So now when he walks onto a green, he’s not thinking that I have to get this close to not make three putts, now he’s walking onto the green saying I can hit this within 5 feet of the hole and you still walk away with a 2 putt. and, in the worst case, a bogey. Do this 5-7 times in a round and you’re in your mid-80s pretty easily now.

So there you have it. Now you can be sure that you will get better scores in a matter of days if you do this simple exercise. It shouldn’t take more than 30 to 45 minutes each time you do this. In fact, I’d suggest doing this exercise instead of hitting balls at the shooting range. I mean really, does it change your swing that much? No, you are hitting the ball the same distance, in the same direction that you always have. Go to the putting green and store your shots there, plus you’ll be less tired when you get home.

I hope you found this information a way to improve your game and help you have more fun or even make more money if that’s what you want to do.

I look forward to sending you more information to help you in your quest to be the best golfer you can be.

For your success in golf,

Nick
