Cataclysm Gold Registry Guide

Enrollment is my favorite profession, steady gold every day once you start cheap. x1 Ink of the Sea and x1 Sturdy Scroll are needed, this costs around 3 gold depending on the server.

To post glyphs you need an alternative bank that only sells glyphs, get x4 from “Glyphs Only” bags, these contain up to 32 stacks of glyphs per bag. As a glyph vendor, you won’t have to work hard. You can log in and post them once in the morning, or before going to school/work and of course during peak hours.

On good days, I get close to 5000 gold from the glyph market alone.

When canceling/Collecting the glyphs, you should use /Reload when you’ve collected all 50, this way you won’t have to wait more than 20 seconds to receive the next batch from the mailbox.

Once you’ve learned enough glyphs from the glyph mastery/training book, you should start looking for people to supply you with ink from the sea, try making a connection with some of your favorite servers, farmers, or gold farmers due to low prices. I have people giving me stacks of Ink of the Sea for 60 gold/stack and Adder’s Tongue/Icethorn for less than 15g.

When all this is done, you have the character loaded with glyphs, you should start configuring the plugins, first Quick Ups 3. Do /Qa for all the different commands, the one we will use is /QA Config – When doing this screen will appear.

Click “Item groups”. What you want to do now is hit the group name bubble and type Inscription/Glyphs or any other appropriate name and hit “OK”. Now hit the group you just made and you’ll get lots of different ways to sell them, how long, how much, etc.

Fill in the information.

By doing this you will post glyphs in stacks of one, three total for 24 hours, you will chip away at any competition for 2 silver unless they sell less than 5 gold, in which case you will not post any glyphs (you can change the threshold to whatever whatever you want but I recommend 4-6g). If there are no auctions, they will be posted for 98 gold.

After that, go to the “Add Items” tab. If you are going to sell all the glyphs, just type “Glyph of” where I did and press “OK”. If you are selling specific glyphs, such as only druid glyphs and you are going to sell other glyphs on other characters, simply press the glyphs you wish to sell in the “Item List”.

Once you are done adding glyphs and setting prices, this part is very easy, you just have to be in an auction house, once the auction window is open press the “Auctions” tab.

Hit Post to post all the glyphs (3 of each type) to your bag and cancel to cancel the ones you’ve been cut. Always cancel before posting more. This only takes a minute to post and another to cancel, before it starts canceling auctions it will scan the ones it has so when it’s done scanning there will be a red box in the middle of the screen so when you see this just press start”.

Just cancel and repost when you have time, remember to use /Reload once you’ve grabbed the first batch of glyphs from the dropbox, this will reload the screen in a few seconds and save you a lot of time in the long run.

Use this macro if you’re in a hurry or just want to cancel all your glyph auctions, in case you’re in a posting war with a competitor.

Due to cataclysm’s recent announcement that people only need to buy glyphs once and that they will stay in your spellbook forever to use when people need them, there will be a much higher demand on Cataclysm for the first few weeks, maybe a month. depending on how big the server is.

I would recommend selling most of your glyphs before the cataclysm, keep a few stacks of your bestsellers like 5 stacks for each class. Some of your competitors will probably start buying all the glyphs they can get their hands on a few weeks before the cataclysm, this is where you make your biggest profit and start now buying cheap AH ones for 2 gold and just sit on them until let this happen. , if it doesn’t happen, at least you have some glyphs for cataclysm.
