C2200 Nordic Track Treadmill – Quiet, Smooth, and Reasonably Priced
As with all other treadmills made by ICON, the Nordic Track Model C2200 treadmill comes with a number of heavy trademark descriptions. Let’s remove some of them first and try to make the actual product review a little easier on the eyes. It’s worth noting here that there are several model numbers for the Nordic Track Model C2200 treadmill and some of them, confusingly, have different specs. Why, I don’t know, but if you’re considering buying this treadmill, currently on sale at $ 699, make sure you’re not reading a previous review!

The principal caracteristics Ten training programs on the Nordic Track Model C2200 treadmill will give you many options. There are eight preset personal trainer programs and two customizable programs. Each program is divided into 30-second or one-minute segments, with a speed and incline setting for each section. The treadmill automatically adjusts the settings as you progress through each of these segments. You can also change the settings yourself by pressing the speed or incline buttons during the program, and it is also possible to repeat a segment if you don’t want to move on to the next one too soon.
The Model C2200 Nordic Track Treadmill has a good size 20 “x 55” belt. The padded platform, by another name for tongue twisting, “DuraSoft III (TM) Shock Absorption,” is a joy to use, and it really makes working out at home so much more enjoyable than hitting the streets.
With apologies in advance for the excess TM, the Solaris (TM) lighting console has four LED displays; calories / distance, carbs / incline, time / pace, and pulse / speed. The console also has training zone indicators, plus a 1/4-mile track on the display matrix. You can measure your heart rate using the handgrip pulse sensors or the “optional” chest pulse sensor (which means you have to pay more for it). I must admit that I never used iFIT for additional workouts, but the C2200 has this technology built in if you want to connect the treadmill to your PC or home stereo and pay more dollars for additional personal training programs.
Like many of today’s folding treadmills, the Nordic Track Model C2200 treadmill has an easy-to-use folding design. However, don’t be fooled into thinking that exercise equipment this size will be as compact as storing your ironing board.
conclusion The Model C2000 Nordic Track Treadmill does its job well and is very reasonably priced for a treadmill of this caliber. It’s acceptably quiet and I especially like the padded cover. The negatives are the limited parts warranty and expensive extras. Overall though, I would recommend the Nordic Track C2200 as a home fitness solution.
