Astrology, numerology and handwriting analysis: far from being pseudosciences

The mainstream of the modern scientific community often discredits
sciences such as numerology, astrology and graphology and
says that there is no proof of its validity. traditional scientist
“experts” sometimes even call these esoteric, empirically based
science “pseudoscience”.

Underwood Dudley, PhD in mathematics and author of
“Numerology, or what Pythagoras forged”, calls numerology
“madness” and says: “…there is nothing wrong with mysticism…
on the other hand, everything is wrong with numerology… numbers
do not control events… (numerology is) the belief that things
happen because the numbers make them happen… (eg, 2 is wet
and cold–if your number is 2, you tend to be wet and cold)… I
hold that Pythagoras was a successful cult leader, and that
is essentially all that he was.”

It seems as if Dr. Dudley might feel that he has contributed more to
the fields of mathematics and science than Pythagoras. The great

doctrines, so it is doubtful that Plato would have agreed with Dr.
Dudley. Pythagoras is known, among other things, for the
hypotenuse theorem or Pythagorean theorem. He too
known as the “father of the number”; established science
foundation of mathematics and the philosophy of numbers.

In addition to excluding from his book practically all the valuable

books offer only a glimpse of complex science and,
or fail to put it in the best context. However, numerology
(also known as number mysticism) is a form of
mysticism and anyone who has objectively studied the
science comes to understand that events and personality
traits are represented by numbers, not controlled by them.

Since his statements against numerology are so strong, one
he expects Dr. Dudley to decisively invalidate the science. Even,
he can’t do this.

It is important to note that the hypothesis or theory cannot be
proven, it can only be invalidated. graphology, numerology
and astrology have never been scientifically proven to be
invalid. Consistently experienced numerologists and astrologers
predict predestined circumstances and accurately identify personality
features.

Although there are few or no documented cases of accreditation
researchers who support the science of astrology or numerology,
the field of graphology has been investigated by scholars
investigators (click and scroll down for a partial list:

For money to be available to fund research in
accredited institutions, a donor or a corporation has to do
contribute. Are most benefactors directly or indirectly
control and dictate what the funds are used for? Yes. In
world today it is unlikely that an individual or company
the donor will designate funds for numerology or
astrological research; are not areas that directly help
cure diseases or support the marketing of companies
promotional efforts.

Contrary to popular opinion, traditional scientific theories are
not unbreakable. What is discarded by the Orthodox
current scientific community can very well be embraced by
the world tomorrow. The history of science is full of vast
held notions refuted by overlooked data. Established
Today’s scientific standards and belief systems are constantly
challenged by new discoveries. The old paradigms are
new shady and exciting platforms are established. Some
of these new discoveries and data are publicized, but many
they are repressed.

notions such as the discoveries of pyramid tops and other

the depths of some of the world’s oceans. many of the modern
the cherished ideals of science are regularly met by
overwhelming evidence of more valid concepts. Remember
the theory that the world is flat or the theory that the sun
revolves around the earth?

Unfortunately, there is a herd mentality developed in any
esteemed group and the general population usually places
the “scientific authorities” on pedestals. If an investigator varies
of the accepted philosophies (or those that are dictated to
indirectly by their funding sources), are at risk of becoming
an outcast; There’s too much at stake to vary from
customary rules.
