Article Writing Technique: Lightning Writing

I used to have a hard time writing articles myself. It took me hours or even days to complete a guest post for my clients. But after years of thoughtful experience writing articles, all that has changed. I have learned a writing technique or flow that helps me write with ease without compromising quality.

It was only through my years of writing that I was able to develop the techniques to make it work.

These are the things you can do to type faster.

• Don’t edit while you write

  Editing blocks your ideas when you’re writing. It cuts off the flow of your thought process and makes you stop at one idea and forget how or what to write next. When you edit, you unconsciously have a limit in your mind saying “you have to be careful when writing so you don’t have to edit too much”. This limiter prevents you from being creative. Report some of the ideas or suggestions that you made in your mind simply because it might be a mistake to write it down. You have to decide whether or not it’s a mistake to write or include the idea later when you edit. For now, in the writing stage, you only have to do one thing… WRITE!

• Use the “Write Like There’s No Tomorrow” Mindset

  This mindset inevitably makes your writing much faster. Why do you ask? Simply because you are pushing yourself to a safe level to complete the article you are writing. Not putting a certain level of pressure on yourself causes you to procrastinate, or worse, you may even decide not to complete the writing assignment. If you give yourself this kind of pressure, you will find that you want to write as many articles today as there will be tomorrow!

• ask yourself a lot of questions

  Start with the questions when, where, what and how. It will do you a lot of good to do this as your ideas will start to flow once you ask those questions. Once the ideas start coming in, keep writing (Remember NO EDIT). Once you think it’s the right length you need, you can edit the article to make sure it sounds consistent and free of grammatical and spelling errors.

You should start following these tips because they will help you to finish a lot of items in the shortest amount of time. I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say that the more productive you are, the more money comes in.

This is especially true for ghost writers or freelance writers. Your profit is directly proportional to your productivity.
