Psychiatrist George Ritchie recounts his near-death experience
God is at work in our world. A VOICE OF COMMAND tells a mother: “Put the carriage back on the sidewalk!” So she doesn’t hesitate and pulls the baby stroller back onto the sidewalk. Immediately, a truck speeds around the corner and goes right over the curb, dodging the mother, baby, and carriage. To Albert, a man who prays, “God, is there no help for me?” a MYSTERIOUS AND ENCOURAGING VOICE says, “God is not done with you yet, son. God is not done with you yet.” Before Albert heard this voice, he had the feeling that he was being cradled, completely enveloped by the wings of a bird. What a salvation for a man who was about to jump off the bridge.
Before George Ritchie was a psychiatrist, he had an NDE [near-death experience.] Your report of witnessing the behind-the-scenes workings of a vast angelic system is very helpful. Christ accompanied him on a journey through the various realms of existence.
First, he was shown an earthly environment in which living people were individually enveloped by a kind of electrical field, which George called AURA. Furthermore, in this environment he saw “grey, colorless souls, without light or aura, who were deceased persons who could not [or wouldn’t] leave the earthly plane. Some were attached to living people through love. Others were bound to the earth by addictions, compulsions, and worldly attachments. These gray souls were seen to gravitate towards living beings with similar addictions or affinities. For example, George saw real [living ] people getting drunk in a bar. As the alcohol weakened the drinkers’ aura, holes opened in their electrical field. When that happened, George could see other souls, who had been circling the bar, rushing toward the helpless body “trying to vicariously experience the feeling of being drunk.”
He was then taken to another area of this earthly environment where the colorless souls seemed to be consumed by their own selfishness. They seemed to have “the most hateful, vindictive, self-centered, know-it-all attitudes” he had ever seen. “They beat each other up and committed all sorts of lewd acts on each other.” He also saw angels there, trying to offer help and occasionally reaching out to these lost souls. George added, “the condition of these lost souls seemed almost to break the heart of Christ, who was there by my side.”
Finally, George was shown an angelic realm. These beings gave off a “glow much brighter than the auras of humans, though not as bright as that which comes from Christ himself.” They seemed to be doing research of all kinds and studying the holy books of the universe. And the music was amazing with musical instruments that we don’t even have on earth yet.
George was led through higher education centers where he couldn’t even understand the scientific instrumentation that these beings were using. Later, during World War II, he saw photographs in LIFE magazine of the first atomic power plant and realized that he had seen the same configuration ten years earlier.
George makes the startling suggestion that ideas reach the human brain through “angelic messengers who impart subconscious suggestions to receptive people in dreams or other heightened states of consciousness.” These angels are making known the results of his investigation. Is this why multiple inventors come up with the same device at the same time, nearly bumping into each other in the patent office?
This book is filled with many examples of supernatural occurrences that seem to echo the biblical record. I pray that we benefit from these ongoing revelations by spending time in WONDER and LOVE from the ALMIGHTY.
Many people are afraid to tell about these special and precious events because of our callous reactions. But we are hearing a deluge of these spectacular ACTS OF GOD. Let’s benefit from them.
